Start building your resume in just a few clicks. From the home page, click Create Resume to start from scratch, or Choose Template to pick a role-specific template first. Fill in your contact details, experience, education, skills, and more in the editor. Changes save automatically as you type. Use the live preview on the right to see how your resume looks in real time.

Can I change the template after I start?

Yes. Go to Templates from the sidebar and pick a different template. Your content is preserved; only the layout and structure change. You can switch templates anytime.

Follow these steps to tailor your resume for any job posting. Open your resume in the editor. Click the MI button in the top toolbar. Paste the full job description into the text area. Click Tailor resume and wait a few seconds. Review the suggested changes in the live preview. Click Apply to accept or Cancel to discard.

What is the ATS Score?

ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is software that most companies use to filter resumes before a human ever sees them. Our ATS Score analyzes your resume against a job description and gives you a real score based on how well it would perform in these systems. The score is broken down into six dimensions: Keyword Match, Experience Relevance, Skills Alignment, Impact & Metrics, Section Completeness, and Clarity & Action Verbs.

How do I check my ATS Score?

Check your score before or after tailoring to see how well your resume matches the job. Open your resume in the editor. Click the MI button in the top toolbar. Paste the full job description into the text area. Click ATS Score (instead of Tailor resume). Your score appears as a panel at the top of the editor sidebar with a detailed breakdown.

How do I improve my ATS Score?

Use the score results to make targeted improvements. Look at the missing keywords (red tags) and add the relevant ones to your skills or experience bullets. Read the per-dimension feedback to understand what is weak. Follow the recommendations at the bottom of the panel. After making changes, click Re-check to see your updated score instantly. Tip: Use Tailor Resume first to auto-optimize, then check ATS Score to verify the result.

How do I import from Notion?

Bring your resume from Notion into Match You CV with one click. Go to Import from Notion in the sidebar. Click Connect Notion and authorize access to your workspace. Search for the page that contains your resume. Preview the parsed content to make sure it looks right. Click Import to Resume Editor — your Notion data is mapped into the editor automatically.

How do I import from a PDF or Word file?

Go to Import from File in the sidebar. Upload your existing resume (PDF or DOCX) and we will extract the content into the editor. You can then edit and tailor it as needed.

ATS score checks are included in every plan (Free: 5/month, Starter: 15, Pro: 30, Pro+: unlimited) and do not use AI credits. Tailoring a resume costs 1 credit. Generating a cover letter costs 2 credits. Pro plans include more of both per month.

Where can I manage my plan and credits?

Open Plans in the sidebar to see your current plan, remaining credits, next billing date, and upgrade options. Pro plans are monthly subscriptions; you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period.
