When you use Match You CV, we collect the following information:

  • Account information: Email address and name when you sign up via email, Google, or LinkedIn.
  • Resume data: The resume content you enter or import, stored locally in your browser and not on our servers.
  • Notion data: If you connect your Notion workspace, we access only the pages you explicitly share with our integration. We store an access token securely to maintain the connection.
  • Usage data: Basic analytics such as page views and feature usage to improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the resume building and tailoring service.
  • To process MI features: resume tailoring, ATS score analysis, and cover letter generation.
  • To import resume data from connected Notion workspaces at your request.
  • To manage your account, credits, and subscription.
  • To communicate with you about service updates.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Authentication and database hosting.
  • Notion API: To read pages from your connected Notion workspace. We only access pages you explicitly share.
  • AI providers (Groq/OpenAI): To power MI features (resume tailoring, ATS score analysis, and cover letter generation). Your resume data is sent to these providers for processing but is not stored by them.
  • Razorpay: Payment processing for premium plans.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your resume data is primarily stored in your browser's local storage. Account data and Notion connection tokens are stored securely in our Supabase database with row-level security policies. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Notion Integration

When you connect your Notion workspace:

  • We only access pages you explicitly share with the Match You CV integration.
  • We read page content to import resume data into the editor.
  • We do not modify, delete, or write to your Notion workspace.
  • You can disconnect your Notion workspace at any time from the Import page.
  • Upon disconnection, we delete your stored access token immediately.

6. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access and export your resume data at any time.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Disconnect third-party integrations (Notion) at any time.
  • Contact us at contact@matchyou.cv for any privacy-related requests.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
