1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Match You CV ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Match You CV is an AI-powered resume building platform that helps users create, tailor, and export professional resumes. The Service includes:

  • Resume editor with multiple templates.
  • MI — resume tailoring to job descriptions, ATS score analysis, and cover letter generation.
  • Import resume data from Notion.
  • PDF export.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. AI Credits

The Service uses a credit-based system for MI features. Resume tailoring and ATS score analysis cost 1 credit each. Cover letter generation costs 2 credits. Free accounts receive a limited number of credits. Additional credits can be purchased through our paid plans. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

5. Notion Integration

The Service offers an optional integration with Notion. By connecting your Notion workspace:

  • You authorize Match You CV to read the pages you share with our integration.
  • You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting from within the Service or from your Notion settings.
  • Match You CV does not modify or delete any content in your Notion workspace.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all resume data and content you create or import using the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Resume data is stored locally in your browser unless explicitly saved to our servers.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service.
  • Create false or misleading resume content using AI features.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Abuse the AI credit system or circumvent usage limits.

8. Payments and Refunds

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through Razorpay. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at contact@matchyou.cv.

9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models to generate, tailor, and analyze resume and cover letter content. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or omissions — including but not limited to incorrect dates, miscalculated years of experience, inaccurate job titles, fabricated metrics, or unsuitable phrasing.
  • All AI-generated content is provided as a suggestion and starting point only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all content before using it in any job application or professional context.
  • Match You CV does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, factually correct, free from bias, or suitable for any particular purpose or job application.
  • AI outputs may vary between uses and may produce different results for the same input.
  • The Service does not provide career advice, employment guarantees, or professional resume writing services. AI features are tools to assist your own resume writing process.

10. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy and correctness before submitting it to any employer, recruiter, or job platform.
  • Ensuring that your resume, cover letter, and any other content you submit accurately represents your qualifications, experience, and skills.
  • Any consequences arising from submitting AI-generated or AI-modified content to employers or third parties without adequate review.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your requirements.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Match You CV and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Job application outcomes, rejected applications, or missed employment opportunities.
  • Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in AI-generated content.
  • Reliance on AI-generated content without independent verification.
  • Loss of data, revenue, or professional reputation.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Match You CV in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
